About feature

In order for any gamer to be able to use the PlayStation console from a distance using his computer with Windows OS, the PS4 Remote Play software was created. To configure the settings, you need to start by updating the software on your PlayStation console. When you have mastered this action, you need to enable remote playback on the console.

For you to succeed, and so you can freely use the console remotely, you need the following devices: a DualShock 4 controller, a Micro USB cable, a stable high-speed network connection (at least 5 M /bps) and a PlayStation Network subscription. Once the requirements are met, let's configure the PS4 Remote Play software settings.

Check for PS4 updates

Check for the latest PS4 firmware update. First, turn on your game console. On the menu, go to Settings and then to System Software Update. Find the Update item. Wait for the latest update patch to download. When finished, go to the Notifications and Downloads section. Follow the instructions given to you step by step and install the latest update patch.

Turn on remote play function

Now is the time to enable remote playback. Go to the Settings menu and then to the Remote Play Connection Settings. Check the boxes next to Enable Remote Play and Connect Directly to PS Vita / PS TV. Next, go back to Settings and select PlayStation Network / Account Management. Then select the Activate section as your primary PS4 and click on Activate. From now on, the remote play option will be enabled. However, you need to enable it to automatically start while your PS4 is in reset mode.

Therefore, go back to Settings and then to the Power Saving Settings section. Select the subsection and set functions available in reset mode, and check the Stay Connected icon. As a result, you will be able to enable the function on your console to send a signal to your remote PC. But that's not all, you just have to enable it on your computer.

Prepare PC

Download the Remote Play software on your PC. At the end of the download process, open the file and follow the instructions of the installer step by step. If the process was completed successfully, you just need to configure the connection between the console and a personal computer with Windows OS.

Connect systems

Now open the installed Remote Play software. Left-click on the Microsoft icon on the monitor screen and find your PlayStation account. Remote Play will automatically search for your console. After completing the connection, you will be able to transfer and remotely open game applications on your PC. As a result, if you have equipment for the PS4 console, you can rapidly set up a connection with a PC.

Make sure your game progress is safe!

To always be sure of the safety of valuable files on a personal computer or any other device, you must have recovery software with you. Often, many recovery programs require you to know exactly why certain files in the file system were damaged. Of course, it is important to distinguish this so as not to repeat such mistakes in the future.

Loss of files from the system can result from downloading malware or viruses from the Internet, power failures and mechanical damage to the hard drive, and even unintentional deletion of files. However, for a program like DiskInternals Partition Recovery, this is absolutely irrelevant.

The program copes with the recovery of deleted or damaged files of any format and size and regardless of the limitation period. Naturally, it is better not to postpone recovery until later. Sooner or later, while continuing to work with the system catalogs, users make changes to the directory where those files were located, and after overwriting it is no longer possible to restore them.

DiskInternals Partition Recovery works with any external and internal storage media such as HDD, SSD, flash drive, external hard drive, memory cards, IDE disk, SATA disk, SCSI disk, etc. All you need to do is go to the official website and load the program into the OS. At startup, a recovery wizard is automatically launched to help you work with the program. After following the step-by-step instructions and choosing the location and scanning mode, the deleted files will be presented to you visually.

This preview mode is available for free even in the trial version. If you are convinced that the program can really help you return valuable documents, music, or video clips to the file system, proceed to purchase a license key. In the end, choose a location and save your data to any device.

DiskInternals Partition Recovery performs recovery quickly and efficiently.
