And almost always this is a minor phenomenon; but if this does not stop happening, of course, there is a problem and it needs to be solved so as not to lose the whole system.
The reasons for this phenomenon are many, but this article will analyze each case individually.
Method 1. Getting rid of viruses or malware
Although viruses aren’t often to blame for the Command Prompt window popping up, it’s worth checking for them in order not to regret it later. So, make sure that you are using an updated antivirus program and then run a scan of each drive. If there are no threats, congratulations! Another method may be more suitable.
If the antivirus program has found some viruses, restart your computer and make sure that the problem of “Command Prompt keeps popping up” has disappeared without a trace.
Method 2. Try SFC

You must click Start with the right mouse button. Then immediately click on Command Prompt. Now type in and click OK. In fact, this is all that is required of you; the program will complete the scan and repair automatically. Just restart your computer.
Method 3. Install Windows update
An outdated system will also necessarily affect the speed and quality of the computer, and may also lead to the Windows 10 Command Prompt popping up. You know what to do: open Computer Settings, then select System Update (Windows). Then click on the Check for Updates button.
If there are updates ready, downloading and installing them will happen automatically.
Method 4. CHKDSK
Before starting the CHKDSK utility, ask yourself: are there any files that I want to recover?
Since this utility will rip them up and you won't be able to perform file recovery. In any case, creating a disk image will save you from having to search for those most important files. Having a disk image with you means you can restore the system now or wait until it’s the right time; it’s up to you. DiskInternals Uneraser offers you such a service for free. In addition, to use the recommended application, nothing extraordinary is needed:
Windows 7, 8, 10, etc.; any recognizable file system; and storage with sufficient free space. Moreover, you don’t even need the Recovery Wizard to create a disk image; everything is so simple. You just need to choose which disk image you want to create and click the appropriate button.
Once the job is done, you can begin to fix the disk using CHKDSK. It certainly will fix all the malfunctions on the computer and make it work properly.
Method 5. Reinstall Windows
This article discusses all possible outcomes of events; so be warned that it is extremely rare, but sometimes CHKDSK does not succeed and Command Prompt will keep popping up in Windows 10. Therefore, when nothing helps, in extreme cases, reinstallation may be the solution. But, do not worry about your data or the system as a whole: you have a disk image, so go ahead!
Good luck and patience!
